In June of 2024, I found my first Eastern Screech Owl nest in Colorado. I was able to document them before, during, and after nesting season. It was amazing to watch these two owls, who mate for life, work to raise their two owlets and eventually making them leave the territory when they were ready to hunt on their own. This magazine showcases the best images of this family, offering a unique glimpse into their lives over the course of a year.
